nookncranny's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- magic it started when i was about...yeah, eleven. i started waking up at 11:11 every night. i would be sound asleep and wake bolt right up. it got to the point that i would laugh a little hysterically and plead "okay, it's 11:11. i see it. can i go back to sleep now?" at first i thought that it was when i would die or something; but as i got older i noticed that when something significant happened in my life it would jump out at me from a clock or somewhere at that very instant. i started to think of it as some kind of magic. quite awhile back i walked into a new agey bookstore and there was a whole table about "the eleven eleven phenomenon." my fingers trembled with exitment as i leafed through the materials. finally i would know what this meant. well, it was some reeeeeally way out stuff telling me that i was from another dimension here to raise consciousness on earth. er...maybe. or not. i don't know. an online search reveals that there are a wealth of people dealing with the exact same experiences and questions. i think it's the universe's way of playing "hotter, colder." a cosmic way of saying "you're burning up." you're touching on the stuff that really matters to you and your life. choose carefully. i'm working on this photo silkscreen at school. it's about never giving up, even when good choices lead to you're feeling isolated. the screen has failed to burn four times. i was thinking of giving up. then i realized i forgot my cell phone today. i raced home because this meant that i had been out of pocket for the kids all day. turn it on. date: 11/11 time: 11:11 choose carefully. magic baby. - 2003-11-11 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
